We would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting our teams during Hockey Day in La Broquerie. It was an immense success and the players all day really enjoyed the extra fans during their games.
The Las Vegas draw was held after the Jr game at the La Broquerie Hotel and the following are the winners of the Grand Prizes:

2019/20 La Broquerie Habs Hall of Fame InducteesJanuary 21, 2020
The Club Sportif is proud to announce the 3 inductees of the La Broquerie Habs Hall of Fame - Builder Category.
Please join us on Saturday January 25th @ 7PM where the three inductees will be honored prior to the start of the Jr Habs game vs the Springfield Xtreme.
Yvette Gagnon
Yvette Gagnon's contribution to hockey in La Broquerie began in 1981 where, as a parent of three children in La Broquerie, Yvette served on the Club Sportif from 1981 to 1992 which included 5 years serving as Club Sportif President from 1987 to 1992. Although no longer serving on the Club Sportif Yvette contributions continued into the late 1990's as Yvette was a key contributor in the organization of the 50th anniversary celebration which included the role of President of the 50th anniversary book which helped catalog 50 years of La Broquerie hockey history. Still to this day, the 50th anniversary book remains the single document that encompasses 50 years of rich hockey history in La Broquerie which documents the building of 3 arenas, minor hockey, Junior hockey and Senior hockey over the first 50 years of La Broquerie Habs existence.
Ken Tallaire
Ken Tallaire initially lived in La Broquerie but moved to St Norbert at a young age but made his return as an 18-year-old when he was asked to play for the La Broquerie Senior Habs in 1994-95. Ken fully embraced the community and his contributions to hockey in La Broquerie can be identified in many facets. Ken's involvement ranges from coaching his son's in hockey to serving on the RM of La Broquerie Council from 2010-2015 as a strong advocate of recreation in La Broquerie. Ken's dedication to improving the facilities in La Broquerie had him directly involved in two large undertakings. Ken was the project manager leading many volunteers in adding concrete in the Caisse Center which lead to the creation of the Caisse Center rink which is now utilized by many in the community as an extra ice surface for people of all ages over the winter months. His largest development project came in 2013-14 while serving as Councilor for the Municipality of La Broquerie where he strongly advocated, lobbied and helped sponsor the Arena expansion. Ken was the chair of the Arena Expansion Committee that oversaw the development of the new dressing rooms, conference room and new canteen along the front of the arena. The facilities we see today in La Broquerie would not be where they are without Ken's contributions.
Rick Lafrenière
Rick Lafrenière’s contribution to hockey in La Broquerie can easily be classified by Rick's current license plate HABSGM. Rick Lafrenière played his minor hockey in La Broquerie all the way to Juvenile where Rick enjoy playing defense and clearing the front of the net. Rick became a big part of the La Broquerie Senior Hockey team starting as Equipment Manager in 1990-91 and moving into the Manager role for 14 seasons from 1993-94 to 2008/09. In the years in the Hanover Tache Hockey League allowed up to 7 imports per team in the league, Rick orchestrated a Senior team which won the league in 1998/99, it's first since 1973. Rick would continue to manage the team to multiple championships including a team which won the CSHL and Provincial Championship in 2006/07.
